I liked the trial of the sekhemas until I tried to do my 4th acendancy as a mace warrior.

I ran the trial dozens of times as a ranged character with evasion. Piece of cake. I started really quite liking it.

Now I tried a melee warrior and... it's like night and day. No evasion so my Honour bar is worth 1/4 as much (armor lol). And I have to get up close into AoE garbage spam only to hit stuff every now and then. Of course I still get hit during leap slam.

So 1/4 effective honour, 1/5 (at best) dps uptime, and I'm slow as can be.

While ranged characters are moving around and shooting at the same time, from a safe distance, once I use any of my attack abilities I am locked down. If an enemy decides to attack at any point on the line my leap slam travels, or any sort of AoE happens there, I can watch as my char slowly but surely moves towards those -1500 honour (and I have 75% res).

Also volatile plants lol, god they are horrible for a slow character. Better not ever get stuck at a corner or enemy or anything or it's instant death.

I'll just do my acendancy in the trial of chaos I guess, but damn is it a difference.

That's because you have to play either the molten throw or totems so it turns your wire into a range class

Yep trial of sekhema is anti-warrior. The first three floors are doable. But the last one is utter bullshit. Range mobs firing at you from a maze of stairs. It pissed me off so bad, I never went back even on my spark mage last patch. Just did chaos instead.

I finished my Titan assendacy last league but the journey is one hell of a process, countless failures and finally at the end facing the bosman for quite a duration (this is with buying out everything the merchat had)…it is done


Then i Build a Gemling Stat Stacker and #%^€% Stomp everything in my way and done within 3 days from start to complete assendacy :)

Bout to feel the same pain this league since my main in 0.2.0 is Smith Warrior and currently with only 3 level assendacy. Yet to do the final one

I did my 4th fine. I am not a normal player though. I blast quite a bit, however, I acknowledge that its a massive difference even between "melee" characters. You have to min-max entirely for it, movespeed relics, max honor, honor res, but movespeed relics are the big one for mace warriors.

Trial of chaos isnt much better, remember that to get your 4th one you have to kill trialmaster. So that means you have to RNG your way to getting the fragments. That is a minimum of 3 runs, but itll take you more than that because "THE VISION". Itll probs take you 4-6 10 waves to actually get 1 trialmaster attempt, and hope you dont get bad mods.

Yeah mace warrior here too, i couldn't bother to deal with that BS. I got to the last boss with 500 honor and got insta-cancelled. I stopped playing after that. Thanks for the vision!
