The Hammer of Fate Feedback - Greed and Corruption Shrine

After about 25 hours of playing with this hammer I've managed to have a greed shrine active both while opening a time-lost chest, causing any time-lost jewels I would have found being turned into gold and also while killing Olroth which happened just now.

As a player I have no agency of which shrines appear and I can't even disable greed or corruption shrine effects from this hammer (I have tried, you can disable normal greed and corruption shrines with right-click, just not the effect from the hammer). Opening a time-lost chest and killing a pinnacle boss should never be able to have its drops turned into gold. It feels awful seeing my hard work turned into worthless currency.

Is it possible for Hammer of Fate to remove these shrine effects?

I am running hammer of faith as a stat stick for my build. Whenever I notice that I have one of these shrine effects, I try to quickly unequip the weapon to get rid of it asap. Fighting bosses, though, I often don't have the focus/time to do that effectively or even notice that I just randomized into a catastrophic shrine.

I put a bunch of tablets around my citadel, got an unid map, and just killed count geonor.




I waited a bit for the loot to drop, expecting maybe two fragments, a bunch of rare items, maybe even some uniques.

Nope. 12k gold. 12k. Not even enough to buy a piece of jewelry off Alva.



So yeah...
1) Please rework these shrines as they actively harm the player in their current state. Corruption is only good if an item is socketed and has quality, while drops generally dont. Also reconsider rogue exile gear being corrupted. Gold is nice, but I would rather see a single rare item than a pile of 6k gold, and the shrine turns rare items into piles much smaller than 6k.

2) If you're keeping the shrines around, consider buffing their effects so that the corruption shrine also applies quality and sockets or something and the gold shrine gives maybe 100x the gold instead of 2x

3) If nothing else, remove them from the pool on hammer of faith. Since its randomly applied and you can't avoid getting it in the same way you can just not click the shrine, it feels awful.

4) Let us right click away shrine buffs granted by hammer of faith. Again, ideally none of the shrine effects are detrimental, but maybe you have gloom shrine but want corpses idk. It feels weird that I can't dismiss it the same way I can dismiss a regular shrine.
