%chance to bleed/poison on hit map mod?
Come accross waystone mods that say "Monsters have 25% chance to bleed on hit" "Monsters have 25% to poison on hit.
Can anyone clarify how this is supposed to work? Based on the wording I'd assume it gives every monster a 25% chance to inflict bleed or poison with every attack, which would be brutal. But in practise I'm not getting bled or poisoned except by enemies that already have the ability to do so. Is it bugged or is it badly worded? " just my understanding, i might be entirely wrong. pls enlighten me if so: i think it does mean the exact wording. any hit by monsters have said 25% chance. but bleed only scales off physical dmg, and poison only off physical and chaos dmg. so if a caster hit's you with a fireball. no matter the chance they still won't apply any of the above dots simply because they lack the corresponding dmg type. pls
-add "Advanced Targeting System" to the options so we can disable accessibility-stuff -fix skills w/o movement to NOT MOVE YOU when using Attack Without Moving i.e. Ice Strike -rework: enemies instant-spells = math-game || very unfitting for meaningful combat cuz can't avoid with skill thx <3 |

That certainly makes the most sense, but I've tested letting some different types of melee enemies hit me (phys dmg) and in both instances they neither poison nor bleed. Perhaps it is bugged after all.

Actually scratch that, I'm running a map with 40% chance to poison on hit now, and it seems that most enemies CAN poison, but it's definitely a much lower chance than 40.
