Using Path of Building PoE2 import function - legit?

Hi, i make only little damage and it annoys me. So i thought i'll go and check whats available out there on simulation software and found path of building. Seems like this is very known in Poe1 so i thought i test it. I would love to use the import function but seems like i must allow this app to access my char, which makes sense. I am just afraid that this allows the app to also use my stuff (currency etc.), but not sure about that, as it states on the poe website when authenticating, that it only views the char and items, but there is a fat warning that this is not "Path of Building", assume thats because the latest version (0.8.0) is early access and therefore, this warning is printed.

pob uses official API provided by GGG, and it's open sourced. Just make sure you download it from https://github.com/PathOfBuildingCommunity/PathOfBuilding-PoE2/releases, it's safe

" I didn't realise that pob2 now is able to import characters from poe2. Thanks for letting me know about this. I just went online to try it out. Yeah, the import seems legit if you download pob2 from the official github website. 34pre98qua
