I had been thinking of trying the new season but...

So when is the new season of POE 1 coming out?

The video is a bit old by the way. Many things have been fixed.

current problems are:
players wants more endgame
craft is too rng (we dnt have essence tier etc)
low drop rates for currency
no divine sink (meta crafting etc)
some maps are too narrow and it makes breach, expedition, ritual useless.
wisps are too slow and we have to move with it while trying to tank damage.
lack of build diversity it feels like predetermined even Ascendancies limiting you.
lack of endgame (poe players are greedy, nothing to do. high expectation from ggg.
towers are too important. You need to find at least two that are close to each other.
you have to play with rarity + rarity on map.
some maps have rlly bad downsides like -50% quantity, rarity, exp etc.
you feel bad if you are not playing with broken skills like lightning spear.
trial of chaos sucks, it drops corrupted items with 1-6 mods rng, missing sockets, quality etc.
boots needs movement speed implict at least up to 20% and prefix t1:5%-t2:10%-t3:15% (total 35) so that it is not completely useless).
showing rares killed exploration, we are playing like "connecting dots" now.

etc etc.
What I'm trying to say is that the current problems with video are very different.
