Giant's Blood Keystone: Players should be 'Attribute taxed' double (not triple) for One-Handed Weps
Like the title says, players who allocate the Keystone 'Giant's Blood' should not have triple Attribute requirements when using One-Handed Weapons with a Two-Handed Weapon. I just noticed that not long ago. Makes no sense.
Reasoning: The Giant's Blood Keystone mainly focuses on Two-Handed Weapons and being able to Dual-Wield them, and for that reason alone, it makes no sense to also require 'triple' the Attribute requirements if/when using a One-Handed Weapons with a Two-Handed Weapon. And let's say on your secondary Weapon(s) you have a single One-Handed Weapon in-hand with say, a Shield? (or another One-Handed Weapon?) Yea, that's even worse to require players to have to have 'triple' Attribute requirements, especially if there is no Two-Handed Weapon equipped in that scenario. The tooltip for Giant's Blood from the Skill Tree should instead specify: "You can wield Two-Handed Axes, Maces, and Swords in one hand. Triple Attribute requirements for Two-Handed Martial Weapons. Double Attribute requirements for One-Handed Martial Weapons." -^That makes more sense. Thank you for looking into this. Totally agree, the 3x attribute requirement is TOO MUCH.
I'm at level 80 and still can't equip any of my reasonably good 2H maces on my off-hand. I just use a shield with a 2H mace. maybe that is what GGG intended, to just give us the ability to use a shield at the same time? Would be really nice if there were no downsides to so many positive things we try to achieve in this game. |

" I don't mind 'downsides' but the downsides need to make sense, especially in the case of One-Handed weapons. As my OP states, "And let's say on your secondary Weapon(s) you have a single One-Handed Weapon in-hand with say, a Shield? (or another One-Handed Weapon?) Yea, that's even worse to require players to have to have 'triple' Attribute requirements, especially if there is no Two-Handed Weapon equipped in that scenario." So instead of 3x the Attribute cost make it 2x. Simple fix. The Giant's Blood Keystone needs revisiting. Thank you for your feedback :) Glad I am not the only one who supports a rework to the Giant's Blood Keystone that could be a little less punishing when using One-Handed Weapons in general (with or without a Two-Handed Weapon being equipped).
