A spread of positivity

I just replayed through the campaign again. I want to say that its true it felt slower then when I played before. I finished it before the changes were made to speed up act 3. The addition's that were made of the artificer orbs will likely help bridge the gap for a lot of slightly awkward deadzones in attributes and gearing with those new runes. I believe those changes were solid and well thought out and likely will make it easier.

I just feel like negativity for the game is surprisingly high. My experience doesn't reflect this giant difficulty and negativity that people are having at all. Perhaps its because we used trade league style gear upgrades to carry us through what would otherwise be a slog but I'm sure most players also are themselves playing trade league. As a three man we just beat boss after boss and yeah it wasn't bad. Nothing felt like a wall and this was most surprising after hearing all the YouTube videos to find out it just was only slightly harder.

In exchange I think the changes and additions to the end game so far have been great. Tower changes are perfect. I like that earning the atlas points is like a map objective. Although I do think having several different map objectives is best and not only 15 higher and higher corrupt nexus. Unique strongboxes are awesome and unique tablets as well. Currency is coming in decently and if you're careful with drops u can always get lucky too.

Idk for me the game is fun when u can die and are not always immortal. In season 1 I played the sorceress and aside from me just being bad once i found out how all the stuff stacks best and got the gear it just was like free mode. Before I even got ingenuity. Like I rather have a game where my skill makes it so I have to play well and with my support tactician build ive allowed my friends to become gods to carry me through and we are full on blasting the end game. We still die because our gear is expensive for the new class and our hps are not 2000+. Like I think thats fair.

Idk just wanted to say I love the changes so far. I think the game direction is good. Maybe we haven't stumbled into the "bad builds" but from the 4 different builds we have all found and played they all seem quite good and playable. We die yes lose our maps every once in a while but with the revive system sure enough we are earning our uber bosses and well on our way in tier 15's. Its not that bad, on trading league at least...

It's gotten to the point where people would look at you funny if you said anything positive.

It won't be any surprise to me when all of these people return to POE2 and admit that their forays into other games of the genre are severely lacking in many things they took for granted in POE2 and that some degree of difficulty is more entertaining than blasting away effortlessly. I think the campaign of POE2 is great, and i've enjoyed playing through it every time. It will be half as much playing these acts when the other 3 are released, and I think at that point it will be a lot more enjoyable for people than it is right now. The endgame feels very boring for me atm so hopefully that gets some big overhauls

Yeah I think 2 things are lacking in end game :
- Having more objectives than just the 15 corrupted nexus
- Having more tutorials to learn how some mechanics work (how to use catalyst from breach and distilled from delirium and whats the purpose of it ?).

How to make any opinion you don't like invalid: say that streamers told people to think like that.

for every person labeled as sheep for being upset about the game direction,
there is another herd of sheep that is group thinking that all who complain haven't come to that conclusion on their own.

if 8 out of 10 people, when asked what color a banana is, say yellow... maybe it's not a mindless horde all being brainwashed into thinking that. maybe the banana is in fact yellow.
