An annoying notifications bug

The notification option for recieved a friend request is constantly causing my controller to briefly vibrate when entering a new zone/map.

I recieved a friend request in game and accepted, but now whenever I load into a new zone a brief pulse of vibration happens as if to notify me of something, I have disabled/enabled the option a few times and it's definitely the friend request notification causing it.

However if I have already accepted the request that notification should not be applying at all.

For now I have just disabled it to save the annoyance, not a serious issue, but very annoying to me.
