FIX the trade PLEASE
"Please, fix the trade system.
I'm so tired of trying to buy things, I PM dozens of people but no one answers. Guess what - I'm rate-limited for 120 seconds. And what about selling? 5 out of 10 PMs I receive are price checks. I'm mapping and get a message, I invite him to a party and go back to my hideout. Guess what again - he leaves the party. Do you think I'm angry? Yes, but now I just feel incredibly frustrated with this trade system. Solution: Auction house please, or give us a UI system so we can accept trades anywhere, doing anything, without having to go back to our hideout. Please save this game. I've been a fan since 2013 and I'm feeling very hopeless with the current state of PoE2. I have no opinion on the gameplay because the game is still in early access anyway, but this trade system is just terrible. I believe this trade system issue has been talked about many times since PoE1. Save the game please!" Last bumped26 апр. 2025 г., 01:43:02

Upvote so my opinion will 'hopefully' be considered by GGG.
Endgame is currently focused on mapping, and anything that makes the mapping experience worse needs to be seriously considered and adjusted. It would be very confusing and raise questions if the player experience isn't taken seriously! |

We have asked for a better trading system since the closed beta of POE1.
They won't give it to us because they want the feel of Diablo 2's trading system. There is a logic to that. D2's trading was addictive. But it was also annoying as hell. Before we had the trade site we used to trade in the in-game trade channels. It was also hell. People were posting items for random prices because they didn't know what they would cost. Price-checks were half the conversation and eventually discouraged in general chat (and you never got a response in trade chat because of the feed of trade spam). It got so bad that Discord servers were made to trade, GGG relented and made a trade website, they also talked about "Trading posts" before we had shop tabs. However if you go the extra mile and make an auction house you will find trading becomes a game of flip-and-pricefix. It's pretty much that already but at least you have a chance to get some items at prices from people who know a reasonable relative price. With an auction house it will sink everything to bottom dollar and make the expensive stuff out of reach. Yet it does have an advantage. Offline sales. I would prefer offline sales functionality to an auction house. They could add two buttons to solve the issues. One extra button on the shop tabs that lets you have a bid range, and one for buyout. You would still have to search trade, you would still have to click, you could even have it so you had to visit the hideout to get the item (making it still feel like you are shopping instead of just auto-buying into your stash). It's practically an auction house but with a nod to the old-school trading systems and with some similarities in how to trade. Not to mention the advantage of having more items in the market because of people who are offline or quit the league with juicy items in the shop tabs. Последняя редакция: MissDerry#3540. I have a good solution which may GGG like for the trading system.
1. Allow us to add a merchant/vendor inside our hideouts which should have an inventory for selling items. 2. Also add a system where players can visit our hideout while we are online or offline so they could check the vendors what we are selling. 3. Add a button to teleport automatically to the seller's hideout through the trade website. This may solve most of the problems which players are complaining about. |
