500k dps through critical damage bonus, account nerfed?

I was playing with an Inoker Critical Ice Strike build, with an entry-level gear.
20k base dps and only 220% crit bonus, with a theoretical 64k total damage.


In this period I dropped 4 div, a good amount of chaos orb and something close to 2 hundred ex.

4 days ago, with the currency accumulated from the drop plus the trade, I changed to the season build which is LS for Invoker, with a mid tier gear of around 15 div.


The gear rarity is at the same level as the old build, but now I have 75k (buffs) in LS with a 700% crit bonus taking my theoretical dps to 600k


Now I can't even drop exalted!

I just remembered that in the live presentation of season 0.2, one of the devs said that above 500K the 'territory would be nerfed', could that be it?

In the past some streamer in PoE didn't get a certain item to drop while the item itself was very common, they admitted that something was wrong with his seed.

So no it's not a fucking thin foil hat.

I lowered my total theoretical DPS to something close to 300k on the crit bonus.

On the tenth map came the div that hadn't fallen for 5 days.

Maybe you just didn't see it drop because of no loot filter?

drops are so little nowadays you really don't need one. maybe turn it off and you would realize how bad drops are.

Ofc drops are terrible this league but filter def helps witch catching rare drops
