Lost Waystones on Precursor Tower (Low Tiers)

I was doing early mapping using Tier 1s, and eventually I reached my first tower. When I placed a waystone in the tower, I also tried to click/enter other waystones, the tower consumed the waystones but I cannot retrieve them. Now, I also cannot activate the tower because of this. Even if I remove the first waystone I placed, the tower cannot be activated. Also, I already tried relogging, etc. nothing worked.

Uhm, nevermind. It seems like the waystones I placed in the tower were randomly placed in other nodes in the mapping. You just have to find them and collect them so you can activate/traverse the tower again.
