Drowning orbs and mace skills are not alright

Mace skills often have those +seconds to the attack animation. You get slowed, locked in an animation, a drowning orb appears and that is it.

This is not a problem for any ranged or mobile build. In this state, this is just bad balancing.

Just wait until you get
temporal chains

and find a rare mob with
- volatile plants
- temporal bubble
- cold damage combo

The only way that could be better if it would get regeneration too
