Omen of Whitteling used but not the lowest level Modifier was removed 2.440.151.834

Bug ID 2.440.151.834

i just used an Chaos orb with an active Omen of Whitteling, the Omen was consumed but not the lowest Tier Modifier (t4 Mana Leech) was removed.
Instead the T6 or T7 Accurace roll, dont quite remember, was removed, in that way bricking the Weapon.
Quite unsettling tbh.

I used one omen of whitteling befor on the same item which succesfully removed the lowest tier. As a result the mana leech was rolled, maybe thats why it was not considered the second time?!

first of all the omen would have shown you the lowest modifier.

also it worked as intended because t6-8 acc on weapon is lower than t4 mana leech. so not a bug at all.

Omen of Whittling does not remove the lowest tier modifier from an item, it removes the lowest level modifier from an item.

It's a very easy mistake to make since unless you are in the middle of using an Omen of Whittling the in-game tooltips only show you the tiers of items, but Omen of Whittling only cares about the level at which that tier of the modifier can roll on the item.
