I'm playing your game the way you intended. I'm playing a ED/Cont/DE. Don't punish me if your servers can't handle this. It's not my fault. It definitely explains why your servers have been stuttering lately. Screw you guys. Sick of this crap.

" What your playing doesn't have anything to do with this. Actions per second is what you're doing input wise and the only way you're getting kicked is if you're running some kind of macro with your mouse or keyboard to send too many actions per second. Your build has nothing to do with it. |

" Wrong, OP is right. I am running the same build and have the same issue. It happens whenever you put 1-2 totems down and they start spamming missiles at contagioned enemies, there is something happening server side that interprets 100 of missiles from your totems as being player action or similar. Before you get that message that boots you out there is also an insane lag spike that happens almost predictably. Sometimes the messages that kills the instance just says 'disconnected from server', sometimes it says 'too many actions'. It is definitely an issue on their end. |

Dark Effigy needs a serious looking at if it's doing this. Glad I haven't used it yet.

How about I play what skills I want to play?
I've always had issues now and then with this game's performance, but it seemed they fixed a lot of stuff. Lately, like the past week or so, before the patch, things have been lagging a lot. I've had instance crashes and a roll back from a crash. Absolute bullshit. This has nothing to do with macro's or keypresses. It is well known that if you are doing something that requires lots of communication between client and server, you will crash the game. Some people use a feedback loop that spams stuff like firestorm. There was a duping issue not to long ago where people forced a crash in order to roll back their gambling. I get the feeling that they've tightened the leash on the amount of traffic to and from a server causing more stuttering and instance crashes, and in my case, the last time, they think I'm cheating. FU ED/Cont/DE affects lots of mobs with dots and overlapping hits. This is a lot of calculations that need to go back and forth. That's what's causing this. It's GGGs fault, not mine. In 0.3 GGG will put a max target limit on Dark Effigy. It made no sense to have no limit in the first place. But until then you have a choice: Keep using it like you do and get booted, or adapt. The choice is yours and yours alone.

I'm not using dark effigy and I get the same issue. Using frostbolt with cast on crit comet and spell slinger fire ball and cast on elemental flame wall. Most of the map I'll be fine but if I'm hitting a boss or a large pack of monsters the screen will flood with comets and then I get kicked for too many actions.
