"Unexpected" disconnect from serverside resulting in Map failed
So i was spending hours in preparing a (copper) citadel node with surrounding towers to boost up the fragment drops (+3xx% waystone dropchange + vision of paradise).
Cleared the rest, fought the boss, few moments before the boss would die, on the second area of the Bossfight, im getting an unexpected disconnect from serverside. Login back 5sec later, i find myself in my hideout, portal gone, atlas stating that the map has failed. The character was still stated as in "Copper Citadel" on the character selection screen. I didnt die during the disconnect (Omen of Amelioration still active in inventory and experience bar still the same) How is this a thing? The endgame is designed around tedious time-consuming mechanics, preparing and juicing up important nodes like the citadel in this case. A player like me will loose a networth of +/- 16 Divines temporary market value just in fragment drops.(+300% x2) Not to mention the hours of playtime preparing it and the materials invested in juicing up the nodes (vision of paradise is 3divines market value) and it all goes to waste because of a serverside issue that just ends the map for no reason instead of putting me back into the fight where the disconnect happend? I had disconnects before but everytime i would be put back into the situation that i got disconnected from. Im a rather new player and I enjoy my time in POE2, and I know its still EA, but something like this, with that amount of time and ingame invesment involved, is absolutley unacceptable. It is one thing to get punished for mistakes, that can be tiring. It is another thing to get punished for reasons that are beyond your control, thats just annoying and borderline to loosing your patience. This is something you really have to fix before official release, if you dont want to loose players who will definetly loose their motivation to engage with the endgame.
