terracotta soldiers + RA

I'm on the map Channel, running waystones. I came across a Ritual Altar on a small bridge.
It has spawned in terracotta soldiers, but they won't activate so that I can kill them, and the ritual won't end.
Tried leaving to character select, it still spawned me into the bugged ritual, same with fully exiting the game.
