Improved aiming for PS5 is not working properly

I just went to Pillars of Arun and thanks to the "improved" autoaim I am barely able to jump to the next pillar if its not straight against a mob. Tried on a normal map and it seems responsive to a degree but if i am less then 90 degrees from a mob any traversal skill goes directly to the mob.

The majority of Travel/Movement skills have two modes.

You can access this from the skill assignment function (push right stick, IIRC). Pick the still you want to change, and push square (on PS, not sure what button on XBox). This will flag the "alt use".

The default behavior of these skills (like Flame Dash) is to try to target a mob if they can, and take you there.

The "alt" behavior of these skills "go as far as you can in the direction I'm aiming, ignoring monsters".

This behavior is usually the one you want.

Note that if you want *both* behaviors, you can assign the same skill to two different buttons and set "alt" on only one of them.

I wrote from memory (not in front of game at the moment), so there's a chance I've said a wrong button or something, but the idea is accurate.

I highly recommend trying it out, it makes skills like Leap Slam and Shield Charge *so* much better.

That said, I finally did a Pillars map in this league, and I can agree that something is off. Worse than before. Even with the alt setting.

I don't know what they changed, but Pillars sucks more than usual this league.

My thoughts exactly. I never had issues before with this map even without the alt which is why i never used it. Its fun though with frostblink ( i already understand the flicker strike guys).
