Atlas Bookmarks covered in fog

Im trying to access older bookmarks i set. cant get to them because the atlas is not loading and area keeps beeing covered in fog. i tried to manually scroll there while loading bits of the map. doesnt work. also i deleted the minimap folder which i read somewhere that this could help. didnt work either. anyone got a trick?
