Trials are not Too Hard (The problem is worse than that)
For some reason, even if you are currently doing level 65 maps with ease (Tier 1 waystones) it doesn't necessarily mean you can do level 65 Sekhemas / Temple of chaos with ease. You would have to be doing level 75 maps with ease at least in order to really be able to do those. But the problem is that level 65 Barya/ultimatums don't drop when you are playing level 75 maps. Level 75 maps drop level 75 Barya/ultimatum , and those are only going to be viable when you can play level 85.
So I just don't really think this is a problem of Trials being hard. This is a problem of Trial difficulty not matching the difficulty of the maps you are playing. You basically have to go back to level 65 maps and start farming those maps for the right Barya level. The gap between level X maps and level X trials is just too high. Hard in this game just means build dependent.
Sekhemas is something between extremely hard and easy depending which build you choose to bring. Balancing would be needed. | |
being able to re-use failed trial tokens would be an easy fix to that (im pretty sure you can't do that anyway)
the real problem with the trials is that sekhema is too long and annoying and chaos trials are too random. there are too many debuffs in chaos trials that brick your run and make you have to go get another ultimatum, running lower tier maps as you say another thing that attention should have been paid to months ago, idk |
