Trade with Everyone
Is it ever going to be possible to trade with PC, xbox, and PS5? The trade environment for console is a turn off, because its hard to buy these great items like mageblood or headhunter. A mageblood costs 300 Divines. Streamers say run this map setup all you need is a mageblood or headhunter to generate all this currency to support multiple alt builds.
Really, 300D, is that all? It seems that lack of currency hurts any kind of experimenting with crafting too, and its not like the lack of the larger player base is accounted for in anyway. A mageblood has 327 matches and cost 69D on PC. One match on Xbox for 295D, and 5 matches on PS5 for 119D. Xbox is getting shafted the most. We know it can be done, looking at you POE2. So is this cross-platform trading ever gonna be something that is possible for POE, and soon? Последняя редакция: BPJ2021#8950. Время: 9 июл. 2025 г., 16:00:23 Last bumped18 июл. 2025 г., 17:11:21

Mageblood is NOT 69d on PC. Those are corrupted 2-flask Magebloods. AKA, half a Mageblood (at best).
Cheapest currently listed in league on PC that's 4-flask is 209d. That's also the cheapest non-corrupted. AND on PC usually the top 5-10 listings are people trying to do some kind of market manipulation. If we collapse by seller and scroll down, they're closer to the 220-225d range. The console trade markets are definitely different than PC, because they're MUCH smaller. But there are downsides too. All sorts of stuff that you could sell for multiple divines on console is only worth 10-20c on PC. The higher prices cut both ways, as long as you actually sell stuff. Personally I prefer a smaller market, (maybe twice PSN size would be ideal), but I know lots of people prefer the big market like PC has (or at least *think* they do... not many people have actually played a meaningful amount in both). PoE2 will give us all a better understanding of this, since it's fully cross-trade. | |
I like the Poe 2 market so far, and I think it could be good for for poe 1. You made a good point about the corrupted magebloods. I did not notice that at all. Good to know.
I do think even smaller buys like unnatural instinct is super overpriced and would be more accessible with a bigger market. In its present state it cuts both ways, but to have it work in your favor you have to get extremely lucky with a drop. Which very few will. I played settlers for about 3 months off and on and had 400 divines. But normally that would have been the whole season. Most people will never make enough to have one. |

The thing I hate the most about console is the currency exchange. The majority of items (fossils are a great example) have NO stock. If items do have stock, it is only one way. I can buy something off the exchange for chaos, but I can't sell it for chaos. It is maddening. Removes so many viable currency generating strats.
If the Playstation market is bigger than xbox, I will have to switch over next league. Xbox is abysmal. I was going to switch this league, but I saw multiple PS5 specific bugs, I shied away. Hoping within a year, POE2 is in a better place. Right now, the lack of crafting systems and state of endgame, makes POE1 worth playing with the horrifying trade market. |

" PS has more players than XBox, but it's still a small group. You would still find that situation on Faustus. One thing I can recommend is that you just list things on Faustus for a reasonable price, even if there are currently no buy orders. Often, someone will come along looking for it, and you'll make a sale within an hour or two (on PS). Maybe a day at the outside. I assume you'd have to double that time on XBox, but I've never actually played there. People not listing things because there's no offers are contributing to the fact that there are no offers. |
