I think it's actually gone down lmao. Pretty sure I swapped a div for like 2xxx exalts a few weeks ago..
divines aren't that rare in T15+ maps. Chaos orbs drop regularly. It's not really a problem.

tbh though I definitely don't see 1800 exalts drop for every divine
This is the ONLY reason for leagues to exist. If you deep dive into leagues, its so casuals can have a chance to afford gear with an economy reset. There is absolutely no other crucial reason i can think of. In a nutshell, if we can stop inflation, there would be no reason for league. i dont think players really want to keep resetting a character they spent so much time to build up, and you can always start a new character if you're bored, there's no need for a hard reset via league.

How to stop inflation? I've actually thought of a way, but i'm not sure it will be implemented because, in short, it will not net the game company more money. You guys do realise that the core reason for inflation is, players are "flipping" everything they can possibly flip as a source of game currency income. If you put a stop to "flipping" inflation will cease.

You know it works the other way around too right? When you drop a div its like you have 2k exalts..

It makes things CHEAPER not more expensive.

Idk how people get so many exalts but as someone else said I def don't see 1800 exalts per 1 div drop but perhaps its also a supply and demand issue. At the end of a league more people are interested in spamming divs on the gear as opposed to exalts.
I have saved 32 div...

Am I rich now? lol

Jokes aside...

Yeah, inflation in this game is the moment I stop playing.

When I play a week to have my currency for an item and that item got higher than I farmed... It's pointless to keep playing.

But, if you can farm divines... It's better for you.
People start dumping their stashes when they quit towards the end of the league. Some do it to randos in chat/reddit. Some w/ guildmates. It seems pretty daunting until, like others mentioned, it goes both ways. You get one Chaos, you can exchange that for some Ex to help you roll on your drops to see if anything sells, and so on as you grind up in power. Same w/ Divs, etc. Sure, the tippy-top items seem wildly out of reach but most of the time you get those from crafting (rolling) them yourself or getting lucky w/ someone selling it for a reasonable price.
You need to understand the complexities of the various market forces, including but not limited to, RMT and Collaborator/Conspirators. This is a hostile land, after all, Exile.
This is why it's so funny when anybody even starts a discussion about "economy". Such a great joke xd
