I got infamy item but didn't progress Signature Specialisations challenge

I fought for an item that contained "of infamy" on it from an infamous merc. The item was a weapon (claw). After killing the infamous merc, I picked up the item but didn't receive progress towards the challenge "Signature Specializations". I don't have the "weapon" part of the challenge checked off.

" I can understand why you would feel like that's a bug... but that "of infamy" mod is just attack speed, it's not a mercenary mod. The weapon slot for this challenge comes from the wand modifier "Curses on Enemies in your Areas have 15% increased Effect". |
