The current state of corrupting cry support
I tried to do a warcry corrupting cry build on Warbringer. The problems I'm running into is that even with heavily investing into strength and increased damage and physical damage on the passive tree and gear the damage is about 20,000 a second. this turns most the end game bosses(t16 and above) and some tough rares into battles of attrition and from what i can tell the problem stems from a lack of base damage given from the support gem(corrupting cry). I talked to some others who have tried to play the same build as me and they all said that the build lacks damage but is really fun to play pre end game bosses. I also asked them what would be a reasonable increase to the base damage.
- increase the max stacks to 30 to match rage and make it more for ramping damage by making each stack also cause enemies to take 1% more damage from physical damage. - double the strength scaling from 25% to 50% of strength per stack (edit: now that im thinking about it i think a good spot to place it is around 30% with the increased damage taken as stated by my friend in the first suggestion) I know this is a minor problem and I'm just hoping this gets changed because it is by far my favorite build to play.
