Two issues in POE 2 - playing on ps5

I'm having two issues in POE 2:


1) I bought an expensive amulet with "+3 to level of all spell skills", but I see no effect on my skills from when I equip it or not. Why does not my skill gems gain levels ?

2) in the endgame, I'm mapping and mapping, but are unable to locate any citacels. I was able to find one, but it was not close to any other, as I believe you have changed in a later patch. When I scan around in the fog I can not find any more citadels, so it is hard for me to progress in the end game. I'm now mapping in one direction, but still can find no more citadels.

please advice.

I have the same issue on PS5 with the latest update. +3 Focus, but Gem Levels won‘t upgrade, as well as any other stats like ES and +1 Totems. Removing all gear (as well as Staff on weapon swap) won‘t fix anything. No idea what to do. Any fixes yet?
