4 Month schedule is tragic
Hello,
This is another rant about the league schedule. PoE2 seems to be a 3 months league game, on a 4 months schedule, that's actually 5 months schedule. It feels EXTREMELY BAD!!! Game is genuinely dead at this point and I do not care if you release a groundbreaking league changes when it takes you 5 months to do so. League economy cannot handle that, it is just too long guys. Also 5 months of same builds domination is just bad and boring. Introduce proper balancing mid-league or shorten the leagues. As much as I fallen in love with this game, I will stop playing if it will be like it is now. Please separate PoE1 from PoE2 development. Because as it is now, it feels terrible for players and I assume for devs as well. Cheers. PS. Not everyone wants to play Poe1. Poe2 is handicapped by resources being put in poe1. That's bad design by definition. Последняя редакция: Evergrey#7535. Время: 4 авг. 2025 г., 07:39:22 Last bumped4 авг. 2025 г., 10:57:44

I personally like it cause that’s 2 months between each league (Poe 1 and 2).

The two games have always been designed for people to play each league for about a month, and then have time to play other games or touch grass between leagues. It feels worse right now because they screwed up a lesson they learned a decade ago about keeping consistent release schedules for sure. Once this league starts if they can stay on their stated schedule it will feel better.
They're not gonna make a new league every month. I'd wager a hefty bet that doing that would reduce player retention like MtG stated seeing recently when they were releasing more than one new set per month. They also simply don't have the manpower to develop at that rate, and due to being in NZ are very limited on being able to just hire more devs. Overall after some bumpy road relearning lessons that they forgot or ignored, the path is feeling better again. |

" I have 0 interest in poe1. It's another game and it shouldn't interfere with poe2 imo. It's putting off quite a lot of players, me included. |

"That's tough buddy. PoE 1 is still pulling good numbers so I suggest you're getting used to it. It won't go anywhere anytime soon. |
