Base Attributes changes without change an Item

on my Huntress i start right with 136 Dex, 106 Int and 71 Str

after a short while playing, Dex goes down to 106 and Str. to 55

im on Cruel Act 2

starting stats and lowered stats are shown in Character tree and Skill tree

did i miss some mechanic here or why the stats go down?

It also happen that attributes are incorrectly uptated after a level, attribute you apply points go down a lot.
Since this is your not case, are you weapon swapping by any chance?

im constantly switch between Spear and Crossbow

i try to look what happen after level up, but i mean that this happen few minutes ago and im not spended the skillpoint already.

its frustrating because on the start i can play a lvl 12 Glacial Bolt but i have to go down to 11 because my str goes down.

Same with dex, i cant go up with gemrank because my dex goes down

im still not getting what happened here...

Edit: right now i spended the skillpoint and now i have 136 dex, 71 str. im Confused
sitting in town already

edit 2, it has something to do with my shield. Spear and shield are my mainweapons, set 1.
if i take the shield off, attributes go exactly down as i described above..but why? im just fastswitch to crossbow to shoot Glacial and switchback for Lightning spear and storm lance

Maybe, you are invested some "weapon related" points in your attributes? And, if you are changing weapon - that means you are "changing" items aswell.

oh, with the switch to crossbow i dont have the stats from my shield anymore

it is solved now, character stays on crossbow and dont switch back automatic to Weapon set 1. it shows then the lowered stats....

i guess now i get it. but it confuses me, when im sitting on my mainweapons included the shield it shows me the stats without the shield.

yesterday i tried to take Items off and on and my stats dont changes...weird...

Attributes on spear/shield set?
You beneffit from the weapon's stat you're currently handling, not both at the same time, this include runes, cores and so on.
So if you have dex/str on a spear they get lost when you use crossbow and the other way around.

You could also have assigned weapon sets points on a travel node in the tree not sure if it's your case but happens
