Some in this community don't deserve nice things...

Going through some of the comments that have already been posted, I have more appreciation for GGG and their willingness to keep trying to please the fans of this game.

Maybe it's not a representative slice, but holy f***, some of these people don't deserve nice things since they wouldn't appreciate it if they got it.

In 0.2 people complained there wasn't enough content. Now we get more content, and people are already complaining that it won't be balanced. Are these people 5 years old? Do they not know how the world works? A game company has limited resources and has to decide what to priorities. That is what adults do. They decided to prioritize content, not balance, which is fine.

I think constructive criticism is absolutely needed, and that will come, but some of these people can't even take a day to appreciate the amount of work that these devs put into this thing. They are already complaining about a game they haven't even played yet.

That is not constructive, that is just being toxic.

This patch isn't perfect by any means, but the effort, quality, and quantity are there, and it's ok to recognize other people's work and be patient to test it out before forming an actual opinion, especially when there is this much.

Thse types of comments achieve nothing my man.
Complaining about the complaining is purely useless.

If anything you are participating in drowning out constructive criticism and encouraging people to turn on each other to argue over pointless ground.
Let's just stick to discussing the game proper shall we ?

It's really simple though. Yes, you see a lot of voices complaining about things that are done wrong, but that's what feedback is for most of the time. It's a simple thing, if it's done right nobody will complain. When talking about Third Edict, sure, the new crafting seems to shape up great BUT they got rid of old omens completely apparently. Yeah, the characters got "some" buffs to their trees, and you can now use multiple of the same support gem BUT that won't matter because now you can't duplicate skill gems, and most of the skills got nerfed, and they got nerfed HARD. Only praise and no criticism is how you get mediocre joke of a game in line with D4, and as much as I might like the game? I won't be quiet if I think they are making a mistake. Simple as that.

That's what feedback is for. In the transition from 0.1 to 0.2, GGG lost 90% of its players within two weeks because it ignored and ignored these complaints. Players are like horses; if you don't give them a carrot, they won't want to run.
