There's a highlight on the item when you come to take it, but is it locked? You could easily put an underpriced item on the market and surround it with extremely overpriced items. Since people will try to be fast, they might make a mistake and click on the wrong item.

Well, it's the player responsibility to click where he should click. And I do think the currency need to be in your inventory to begin with and wouldn't use the one in your stash.
