Tower Changes + Harbingers????
we need to take out that one tablet that allows all nodes to be accessed and just have that built into towers already following along how the more mods you run allows you to use 4 tablets, make it unlock all nodes within 4 tiers of radiuses so more mods = bigger radius unlocking all nodes within them, also make a tower change where they are like an index of the nodes it has access and reach to, bringing out a list that will display the maps accessible and with mechanic icons next to the map name allowing you to filter through the nodes quicker and easier should also help with those ghost nodes where we cant actually access them. so complete the tower insert the tablets reopen the tower node and it has a list of maps with mechanic icons in its radius you can access/select bringing you to that node or it just brings it up after selecting and you insert the waystone and away you go
Bring harbingers and introduce items that can change nodes completely such as the harbingers orb in poe 1 that will change the map node to another map or a new item like a tower creator where we can turn a node into a tower now that would be op so artificial towers we can dub for now also have restrictions such as artificial towers in range of other towers can only use one tablet at the most and if necessary make it to where they cap out at 5 towers any other tower accessed after the 5 cap within a radius will no longer allow tablet use, 3 regular towers if you can find it plus 2 artificial and they only give one tablet effect a piece also this can replace the fracturing orb make them be shards as well plus with what mark said in the q&a it works lore wise i guess i dont know it too well but harbingers are beings from a different dimension so we use their drops to change the reality of our dimension ie map nodes. MAKE IT RARE the Tower shards should be a little rarer or the same rarity as the new perfected exalted orb. an item that turns a node into a random unique node one of the new ones or could have the merchant pop up. An item that eats other nodes to empower the one you selected locking and sacrificing those nodes to absolutely giga buff the one map you selected Could be the unique league mechanic boss where you turn a node into the encounter. So i feel like harbingers is good mechanic to use to tie in and build around map nodes and with how players are feeling with towers this could be a good way to address them Now i nothing about how this really works all the math behind it escapes me i dont know how they end up calculating things so I couldnt tell you if this was feasible. there are a lot more people smarter and more creative than me so maybe this has already been discussed and this was already planned and in the works or they already scrapped it and are going harvest druid for .4 idk i might just be counting the chickens before the eggs but this is just my 2 cents they might not mean much to others but i weigh it in gold Last bumped22 авг. 2025 г., 17:46:13

Cause I like towers I just dont like having to sacrifice my semi juiced maps to try and make them juicier like doing one tower having little juice on those maps waste like 4 of them in the area to get to the other tower to juice further then wasting 5 more to get to the other other one then only to realize that i can only do about 10 maps before i have to leave the area in search of a new tower set up rinse and repeat until league dies thats no fun. but with the index function we can tower hop waste less maps juice the area blast then go searching for a new tower set up. also with a harbingers mechanic tied around altering map nodes we add items that will allow for customization of nodes and traversing the map, like an item that you apply on the node before running it and on completion will unlock the next 10 nodes in a line leading and giving access to the tower which will then also save the other 9 for juicing or the fracture tower shards letting you make an artificial tower node used for node hopping exploration and to enhance the nodes somewhat, because they have addressed movement speed and in game exploration i hope they can address traversing the atlas for .4
