The Defiler Map Device (not working)

I just got it and I put it in my hideout. Activated a new map. Jumped in the portal started killing things and the map still says 0/0/0/0.

Any ideas, I couldnt find any help online. Seems its still an issue. :( I really wanted this tracker for it not to work.
