Toad Pet animations

The Toad Pet slides around and teleports. I'm using the Green Frog Pet at the same time and it hops along just fine so it's something wrong with the Toad specifically. It's been like this since initial release.

Please help him.

I noticed this too, it is most disconcerting. Poor toad needs help.
