Failed to join instance bug on death with portals left

Currently experiencing "failed to join instance because: You cannot rejoin this area after dying."

Despite having a portal left - visibly even in front of me.

Very frustrating way to lose a map while progressing.


In case it matters- this happened after engaging the boss of Lofty Summit map.

this still an issue. happened twice to me today
