Charged Staff+Heightened Charges Doesn't Work

So Charged Staff allows you to socket Heightened Charges, but I've never seen its ability to double the yield of power charges. It should happen about 1/5 of the time, doubling the damage bonus and duration of the buff, but it doesn't ever seem to trigger.

Edit: The increased duration support gem doesnt work either.

I am here to support the original poster's claim.

Personally, I have found that the Support Gems called "Prolonged Duration" are shown to no affect the Charge Staff duration in the statistics window tab like they are suppose to.

This must be a related game bug to the new 0.3 patch because the most recent 0.2 version of POE2 did not have this issue.

Even though this is a minor issue in the grand scale of the game, I still hope that these bugs get fixed soon.

I am experiencing the same
1) Socket Heightened Charges support to Charged Staff skill
2) Consume power charges with Charged Staff

For my experiment I've always consumed 7 power charges and have done around 30 tests.

Heightened Charges never applied the double effect, meaning I've never seen:
A) Double duration of the Charged Staff buff
OR/AND
B) Doubled added lightning damage to quarterstaff attacks

Thus - the support has no effect on the skill

Either player shouldn't be able to socket this supprot to Charged Staff or it should be able to proc the double effect.
