Game just isn't fun anymore
Played on EA release. Game was amazing, decent power, mobs died, don't have to play my keyboard like a piano to kill 2 white mobs.
0.3? Gone. I have to combo, roll, combo again, faceroll my keyboard just to kill mobs as melee. Downsides to skills are incredibly dumb. Not allowed to experiment with builds because of the absolute SLOG it is to get any kind of gear/runes/currency. Drops are bad, balance is bad, melee is bad, only option to have fun is to play meta classes. I get that its early access, but the game has just gotten worse since EA release. And no, I don't want PoE 1 v2. This game can be better. Devs need to stop listening to streamers and actually play their own game. Last bumped2 сент. 2025 г., 21:36:38

I agree the game is a slog now , i disagree that it was better in 0.1 in 0.1 it was shiny and new and we ignored a lot of the garbage aspects because hey first time with shiny new thing.
ON a second playthrough even in 0.1 it is painfully obvious this game is just hot garbage for an ARPG. It does not feel enjoyable in combat , you move too slow , you have to spend most of the boss fights dodging not actually fighting in an ARPG . If i wanted a souls game id play one , this is an ARPG where is the action ? Running to kite white mobs isnt action , dodge roll 500 times in a boss fight isnt action , its tedium and monotony and i hope they get someone better to lead the team soon before GGG ends up just another TenCent acquisition run by Chinese corpos. |

" streamers don't want the game to be like poe1 but some features that are already good in poe1 can be ported to poe2 it doesn't have to always be new things. for example, atlas passive tree and endgame mapping, you can choose which layout you wanna run, which strats you wanna do in poe1, no need to follow towers balances are also bad which is also one thing streamers are talking about. like there are very little defensive nodes in passive trees, getting one-shot by bosses or white mobs, most of the skills are useless |

The main thing I want to know, is why do they have such a fetish for the on-death/delayed on screen effects? I just don't get it, you basically don't see this to such a degree on most other similar games. But GGG seem to just love the stupid stuff that kill you at the moment of your victory. It seriously feels like the gameplay devs are outright antagonistic toward their customers.
