overall the league rocks, it is still the #1 arpg on the market, but it can still be A LOT better.

Balance is still a major issue, and you cannot have people dying in ways faster than is humanly possibly to re-act to

I died by a instant death mechanic at the end of a 4 boss, which is just am uncreative cruel way to kill players, so i strongly recommend removing instant death mechanics, because once players realize they exist in the game instead of just big hits ect, they run around playing scared the rest of the game thinking every boss hit might be an instant death mechanic and this will take away from overall game enjoyability as a HC player.

I died with no mobs left living on the screen after battling an abyss in a 4 (3k hp 50%+ res and 45% chaos res), in under 0.2 seconds by some strange green after death explosions, might have been a bug,

i died to a move i had tanked in act 4 several times while battling the sword prince in under 1 second with 3kish hp all res capped, 30% pdr

and these deaths touch on another subject one

the topic of having the poe 1 campaign being much shorter than poe 2 so you are going to have to factor this in when creating event that can kill players, many players might re commit the 6ish hours to beat poe 1 campaign again, but a much smaller amount of players are going to be willing to recommit the 8-16+ hours it takes to beat the poe 2 campaign

second, this also bring up the issue of pause and auto exit macros, which essentially are choking the game into having exactly 1 and only 1 way of killing its players, for example, lets say there is a 1k poison dot, well that is not going to be able to kill anyone because they will just pause and exit out, which leaves the game devs with only instant death options (which are lame) as the means by which a battle can be truly challenging. Overall it is a big mistake and is diminishing the game and seriously limiting boss encounters.

minion builds have way too many buttons and are not very good which is why i suggested [right click to toggling minion moves / auto casting]

in general a build that needs to cast more skills needs to be a lot better than builds that require only 1-3 buttons to really move.

The deadeye's free 30% dr is a little busted as even the infernalists 10% DR from a minion requires around a 10 passive pt investment in order to work.

Running through the campaign hoping to get the resistances i want so that i do not die, is not skill, it is luck, and this brings us back to the topic of is it a racing game, or a stop and farm game, you have gotta choose one or the other and make sure your not making it both.

minions take wayy to many talent points and it chokes out all hybrid builds and players being able to get creative with their builds. that's bad.

minions still are no where near as good as other self cast builds, and trying to keep my minions alive clicking frost mage skele ice armor is a nightmare.

Infernal flame is still just not cool enough. You have to really sink some time into the ascendancies and make the serious unique and seriously awesome, not just + dr / + damage ect, its just not cool enough you guys have and CAN do a lot better,

Your the #1 gaming studio in the world, its time to start showing off and raising the bar for the gaming industry - no more "I'm almost retired" mentally, you have to bring fourth the inner hayao miyazaki, in every skill, every zone, every boss ect, - it is ok to go slower, to produce quality.

for, it is not the new wine that all creation desires, but the ancient.

The act 4 bosses seem rushed (except the final few Arasthas onward), and not really as well developed as the rest of them and staying max range, is just far to effective.

the unarmed monk, needs different skill functionalities with every single quarterstaff ability, not added pd,

strategic combat didn't really make it into the game, not really sure here.

balance is a joke, so continuing down the line of perfecting current content is going to be the proper way of progression, with adding at least 1 ascendancy per major patch, if you have to take even 6 months to produce quality, take 6 months.

the hollow palm, graphics needs a little more,

overall it was pretty awesome, but i imagine that you will see a further decline in player base on account of the above mentioned time investment topics.

no after monster death mechanics should exist.

i would take the next sin months and REALLY perfect the combat, just running by as ED kills everything instantly is just not good enough - adding mechanics to really bring it to perfection, mechanics you might be able to come up with yourselves, or MAYBE NOT !!!

the is an issue with damage taken on average and then BOOM! instant death, that is a little out of sync with the rest of the game.


overall it's awesome, but it is way to easy, and needs private leagues badly.
