I detonated one bomb at Plunder's point and now can't acess anything on a map.

I put one bomb on the ground to test the mechanic, detonated it and now i can't do anything on a map. I can't put bombs so i can't detonate anything. How the f i should know that you need to place every bomb before detonating them. I tried to reload a map but now there is nothing, no points of interest and detonators, i can't even put bombs on the ground. Pretty much the worst encounter i had in poe 2 in 120 hours. Feels bad.

this is the most baffling decision i've encountered in the new content. i'm a casual player who hasn't been exposed to this mechanic before which i'm assuming was part of a previous league and the verbiage meant to inform you what exactly is supposed to be happening or what you're even expected to do with the explosives is unacceptable. it's not a bad idea but after spending the majority of act 4 going after these 4 parts to find the quest only to receive one chest's worth of loot because you didn't understand the odds, especially in the context of the expanded tooltips for skill effects etc seems malicious.

I did something similar. I'm new to this and I don't know they wanted the whole island to be bombed. Now I'm screwed out of 80% of the loot and no way to continue it or just start over. Stupid stuff like this hurts my expectations of the game. They really need to rethink this part of the game!

Rather reasonable approach of mine was not to explode the whole island and battle every creature at once but do it gradually. no hint what would happen if I did that and also makes no sense to not to be able to use the detonator once at a time.

treacherous design. especially if you run around for the map pieces to then being boned by that.
