Endgame is boring an I don't see a way forward with the current atlas
- So u finally got to map? Good Job archer! It is time to get your atlas points!
- Lest fkn GO! How though? - Well there are those corrupted things in red and u go there and beat the crap out of the boss and he drops green book. - Cool. Oh, this is just 5 points.. I need 40... - Well u can get 5x2 from unique maps, but the rest u get by clearing more red corrupted thins. - But master.. how far do I have to travel to find new red things to slay? And here we go into the atlas boredom. Fine, travel the atlas, find corruption, fight boss, get points. It's a one time job, or 6 time job..whatever. My problem is that now I want to grind currency. Whats the best way? Well it is finding more corruption. Once cleansed there will be one or two maps with high quant and rarity. Next, I need to travel to ALL surrounding towers, which is playing another 20 MAPS, so I can finally get a setup for high drops on the two maps from the cleansed area.. WHY THE FK DO I HAVE TO PLAY 20 MAPS SO I CAN BUFF 2??????? And once I'm done with those 2 maps I need to travel to another corruption source and repeat the same boring process again. This feel bad, and I literally have to force myself to play yet another empty map, more like another 25-30 maps before I can do another good one.. And GOD FORBID u die in the good map from some stupid lag spike... Last bumped5 сент. 2025 г., 13:12:49

I’d do it like this: after clearing a map you can set up small outposts that slowly grow. In them you build simple things like a lumber mill, mine, or farm, they generate resources. You can then spend those resources on Atlas upgrades or character bonuses (like more drops, a bit of extra currency, buffs, etc.). Sometimes monsters attack an outpost and you need to defend it, otherwise you lose some bonuses. It’s kind of like a mini-HoMM (Heroes 3) inside PoE — you grind maps while also developing your little network of settlements.

It's early access and the endgame is obviously not finished. They're reworking it next league.
