Blink + Lingering Illusion or Void Illusion interaction

When blinking with Lingering Illusion or Void Illusion the illusion is not spawned. Is this a bug or a feature?

I found in the yotube video from 8 month ago there is confirmation that this two skills worked together: https://youtu.be/RrjHj0ZuDOM?t=277

And yeah it was related to bug, but the bug was not related to this interaction:
0.1.1: Fixed a bug where Minion Pact Support was able to drain the Life of Lingering Illusions.

Seems like this patch disabled creation of illusions by blink as well.

Is this intended and just wasn't reflected in the patch notes or is this a bug? (Or am I stupid and doing something wrong and it works for everyone =))
