Spirit not registering right. Bluffs not working

On ps5, happened about 3/4 of the way through act 4 on Sept 5th.

I noticed that my lingering illusion stopped working on my monk. I looked online to see if others had similar issues and it seemed I wasn't the only one. Others were running into issues with it not working with support gems. So I took out my support gems, turned off the ability turned it back on, reloaded the game. Still doesn't work.

Then I noticed that on my blind screen where you set your abilities it shows 0/60 spirit available due to my herald of thunder and lingering illusion both being active with my 60 spirit. When I look at my numbers above my health and mana orbs on the main UI however, it shows 60/60 spirit available. So I tried even just running herald of thunder by itself and that isn't using any spirit either.

Somewhere it doesn't look like something is registering properly.

Anyone else notice this. Hopefully an easy fix. Hope this helps.

Found what was going on with the issue I was having with buffa not working.

Looking at my bind screen where you assign your abilities, I have weapon set 1 with the abilities I am using. I don't have any abilities assigned to weapon set 2 do to me not needing it. So its empty.

However, when I go to my UI where my skills are at, the game has my abilities duplicated for weapon set 1 and weapon set 2. Even though it's still empty on my bind screen.

So because it duplicated my skills for both weapon sets, instead of showing no skills for weapon set 2 on the UI , I thought I was on weapon set 1. I didn't have buffas active on weapon set 2 because I don't use it.

Not sure if that's intended but is confusing it doesn't reflect the same on both the bind screen and the UI. Hope this might help others who may have the same issue.

To add, for the other odd thing, not only did it duplicate the abilities into weapon set 2. They were functional when I clicked on them. Is why I was confused

Did unbinding your skills from weapon set 2 fix the buff issue though? I’m having a similar issue right now where cast on crit is not proccing even though I have 150 spirit. Wondering if its because my skills are set to weapon set 1 and 2.

I couldn't unbind the skills because I never assigned any to weapon set 2.
Shows nothing is on weapon set 2 when I go to my bind screen, but my UI shows it as if I had bound skills to weapon set 2.
So as of now I have to watch to make sure my abilities are working and if not go to see if It switched. If it did then I have to make sure I'm back on 1.

Still confused why it does that.
