Skills Still Costing Life and Mana After Respec from Blood Mage to Lich Post:

Hi everyone,
I recently respecced my character from Blood Mage to Lich, but I’ve noticed that my skills are still consuming both life and mana. From what I understand, after switching masteries this shouldn’t be happening anymore. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a known bug, or is there a mechanic I might be overlooking that makes skills continue to use life and mana even after the respec?
