Convalescence won't activate, but if I unequip then immediately requip it will

As above. On PS5 Pro.

Running a Witch, have Convalescence equipped. It's active, I have plenty of spirit free, fit all the requirements for it to activate, but the icon remains unlit and it won't activate.

If I go into the skills menu (pausing the game as playing alone) and unequip the gem but then IMMEDIATELY re-equip it, then come out of the skill menu it's now usable as intended.

I have noticed that when I portal to town (possibly simply change area) the gem, while still showing equipped and activated has no spirit cost and does not work. Unequip and requip - spirit cost as normal, gem works again. May be an issue when changing areas.

It's only when a support gem is placed with convalescence, and it stops working every time you change instance, after which unequipping and requipping it and the support gem fixes it.
