[Controller] Essence Stash Tab not automatically slotting items in the free slots
Edit2: this was NOT fixed in 0.3.0c, some different bugs occurred. Added information about the new 'bugs' in the next comment! Setup: I have "expedition" items in my free slots in the essence tab. Both my essence tab and currency tab have "expedition" items in their free slots [currency tab has exotic coinage, essence tab has the other 3]. I placed both these tabs within the same folder. When I have the folder selected, but I still didn't select a single tab, and I try to place expedition items into the folder, it CORRECTLY places the exotic coinage into the currency tab, stacking with the previous coinages that were there. But it DOES NOT place the other expedition items into the free slots in the essence tab. I already tried to swap the items, when I place exotic coinage into essence tab it also fails to correctly stack, but it did stack correctly when it was inside currency tab instead. I also tried to swap the order of the tabs in the folder, and the problem still occurs with essence tab while it does not occur for the currency tab. When I select the tab individually, not the entire folder, the items are placed correctly; the 'bug' only occurs if I open the folder without selecting the tabs specifically; the 'bug' does NOT occur for currency tab even if I don't select the tab specifically. Please fix the 'free' slots of essence tab to correctly place stacking items there when the tab is not selected! Последняя редакция: Rydreeck#6554. Ok, so I thought this was fixed in 0.3.0c after initial test, but after some tries it was not entirely fixed.
Before, if the currency tab was inside a folder, the game would ALWAYS allow you to place items inside that currency tab's bottom free slots when the folder was selected, even if the currency tab was not directly open, only the tab. This pattern would NOT be true for essence tab, even if essence tab was alone in a folder. The item would fail to be placed, it would simply not move. Now, if both are in a folder, the game 'memorizes' the last open tab, which seems to default to the first tab in the folder, and you can ONLY place items in the free slots if that tab was the last open tab. Example: - I have currency tab and essence tab in folder A. - Currency tab has exotic coinage and Essence tab has sun artifact in their free slots - I move to folder A and try to place exotic coinage and sun artifact from my inventory to the folder, it correctly places the exotic coinage into currency tab but does NOT place sun artifact into essence tab, it fails - I pick exotic coinage back to inventory, and open and close essence tab. Now, essence tab was the last opened tab in that folder. Now, if I try to place exotic coinage into the folder it will FAIL (since currency tab is no longer the most recent opened one) and trying to place sun artifact will SUCCEED because essence tab was the last opened one. My desired behavior: if I have folder A opened, with both currency and essence tabs there, I could correctly place BOTH exotic coinage AND sun artifact directly, given these tabs already had these items inside their free slots, without needing to open any of the stash tabs inside the folder. After some tests I identified another problem with essence stash tab on controller. The new bug is as follows:
Whenever I have a certain item (e.g. sun artifact) in the FOURTH FREE SLOT (bottom-right) of the essence tab, I CANNOT move that item from my inventory to the correct placement by clicking. E.g. I click "A" button (X on PS controller) on the item on my inventory, then use the arrows to move that 'held' item to the fourth slot of the essence tab. The automatic snaping simply IGNORES that this item is already in the fourth slot, I simply CANT reach, even if I turn all snapping off in the controller settings. This bug does NOT occur for the other 3 slots in the essence tab, only the fourth (bottom-right) slot is bugged. |
