Are citadels gone this league?

Hi

I'm currently level 92. Haven't seen a single citadel so far. Are they still a thing this league or my atlas bugged?

I did over 100 maps around my Ziggurat Refuge before i started questioning to myself why havn't i seen a Citadel or even a light. Got fed up not having all my boss atlas points so I had to map 16 towers in a single direction before i saw my 1st light.

Has to be bugged :(

Citadels have a minimum distance from the starting point until they start spawning. So clearing around the Ziggurat refuge is probably the worst tactic when looking for them. Just choosing one direction to go in seems to work.

Have found one of each myself, but they do seem to be rarer than I remember.

I've found 1 so far at lvl 93, and I move around the atlast a lot looking for tower setups.

I've been going off in one direction after originally working around home. I am starting to doubt they have spawned at all on my atlas. Surely this is not as intended.

Starting to put me off mapping.

I found 6 right in the beginning. Now it's a dry spell.

Is there any method, how to find them? I try to heading one direction now, but didnt find single one. I'm level 94, i dont see much reason to continue playing this so called endgame.
If at least they change it that after certain number of towers you conquer, citadel spawn near.

I´m level 97, haven´t found a Citadel yet, prob just that bad rng I read about, it is what it is,

I find the "not moving" ant minions bugg aswell as the "not aggroing, unkillable" dancing female boss in the Derelict Mansion map bigger PITAs atm,

oh and all the chilled ground, seriously not in any way difficult just really really annoying, even with a really good rolled silver charm (maybe I should go caveman and use 3 of them..)

I don't think I've seen one since 0.1.

I really hope they scrap this endgame and come up with something better before launch.
