Shade Walker abyss mod is as bad as Reflect, build bricking mod

I'm playing Infernalist with Pyromantic Pact.

My playstyle involves around self hitting myself for several thousands of damage per second. To counter this, I have stacked very high recoup. This build has worked surprisingly well this patch, with one singular exception: The Shade Walker abyss modifier on rares. In high-end & invested maps, there is no way at all for me to identify a rare spawning with this modifier in time, it will teleport to me and disable my recoup leading me to suicide my character in less than a second. I cannot fight this monster up close at all as it completely disables my build.

Historically recovery disabling effects have only been part of boss fights where they are both very mechanical and well telegraphed.
Please consider looking further into this mod, a complete denial of any recovery as a random monster modifier that can potentially appear in any map is not okay. My suggestion would be to make it instead make it grant reduced recovery rate instead of fully disabling it.

100% agree with all that you said, reduced recovery alone would be tough mod combined with the DoT, but this is singlehandedly ruining the game, im considering just leaving this season and coming for the next hoping for it to be removed or reworked.
