Please revert the Waystone modifier change....
In 0.2 I could run safe blue waystones, with prefix = good.
In 0.3 all modifiers are downsides. Every waystone I drop is a rare with 4+ modifiers, mostly additional monster damage and increased monster crit chance, making them completely unusable for me. I can farm a trash waystone, then buy 3x from Doryani, recomb, and drop another unusable rare waystone and repeat. Please either revert the modifier changes, or at least make waystones more likely to drop as whites, instead of rares with 4+ unusable modifiers. HCSSF is the only way. please don't. the old mods made no sense what so ever.
i can see this making leveling or HC much worse but that's the point of map mods. and those mods should be addresses next- simple +dmg mods, which most of them are, are very low effort and are not proper difficulty increase. i say make maps work like chaos trials- unique additional mechanics/effects/debuffs instead of just +dmg flavors |

I can agree with white waystone drops 100% of time unless one takes that atlas notable that boosts waystone rarity.

" I think it made a lot of sense... let me guess, you're a POE1 player and you're used to the current system? The previous system was way better, it was clean and elegant, that you could use to your advantage. Prefix = good, suffix = bad. It gave a lot of diversity to maps and you chose those that your build can handle, and use other mods with other builds. It made cool interactions with omens and alchemy orbs. The only thing "bad" about it was that you could easily dodge all the "+500% to time spent on the map" mods, and apparently the devs don't like people running with their default movement speed. watching people argue over how "different" the systems are... is silly.
It's all the same lame re-used things. How about actually coming up with interesting things that are not + and - arbitrary thing (at end game zero of these matter). |
