Citadels not spawning

Has anyone else noticed that citadels aren't spawning anywhere on the atlas? I've done about 100 maps, and I've scrolled for miles in each direction but don't see any beams where a citadel might be.

i am lvl 95 blasted all the way south and didnt see any laser beam. i also made sure to interact with the burning monolith to revieve the quest.
pretty weird |

i have 3 on screen right now and 2 more half a screen away
run corruption monoliths, do some unique maps or 6mod bosses idk what happened to brick your atlas |
