What is the Incubator Queen for?

Can anyone tell me what the function (use) of the Incubator Queen is? I always pick that option when it shows up on a waystone and have killed around 10 so far. Is there any loot or anything?

Had a look at poe2db, it looks like a mob which gives heaps of experience, item rarity and item quantity. A poster on reddit didn't find her worth the effort (though their sample size is low at only 2 encounters.
