Stuck in Derelict Mansion Boss Room

Hi, need help here. I got stuck in the Derelict Mansion boss room. The boss was somehow get out of the boss room and i am not able to back to checkpoint to reset or kill myself. Restart the game a couple times, didn't work. Please advise.
