Ascendancy points bug [POE2]

I used a trial key that says it grants ascendancy points. I completed the Trial of Sekhemas, starting with the Test of Strength and then the Test of Will. After completing the trial, the ascendancy altar was highlighted, telling me I could claim points. However, when the UI popped up, I was unable to gain any points.
I restarted the game to resolve the issue, but the trial key was then returned to me.

Same thing for me on Xbox series X

I think you just need to do the 3rd trial as well now. Got my 5th and 6th ascendancy points using a level 71 Djinn after all 3 trials.
