POE 2 Act 4: Softlocked Excavation Site

Hey,

As the title says, I just killed the boss before entering the excavation site. When the dialogue happens and the boss gets executed, he gets sent flying across my screen and bugs the whole instance. No npcs in the area after this to open the door behind the boss therefore not allowing me to progress. I tried respawning last checkpoint. Also tried entering a new map and logging out and then going back to Excavation. Nothing seems to be working. Any fix or am i just softlocked?

same thing happened to me I am soft locked in the campaign. The herald gets shot across my screen lol. I died after i killed the boss so i let the scene playout I respawn at checkpoint and now im soft locked. The effect I died too was when you have to stand in the small circle before it explodes like arbiter meteors but i already killed the boss and was not trying to fight him again.

Okay I found out how to fix it you must join another players area and kill the herald in their area. I had an amazing person from global help me out. Hope this helps and this gets fixed.
